Dr. Keyur Hirpara serves as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at LD College of Engineering in Ahmedabad, bringing a wealth of experience to his role. With over 15 years in academia and an additional 3 years in the industrial sector, Dr. Hirpara possesses a diverse background that enriches his approach to teaching and research. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University in 2023, following a Master's degree from SVNIT, Surat, in 2011, and a Bachelor's degree from North Gujarat University in 2005. Dr. Hirpara's research interests span Surface Engineering, Automation, and Robotics. Notably, he successfully completed a funded research project from GUJCOST between 2021 and 2023 in the field of Surface Engineering. His scholarly contributions include six publications in international journals and four presentations at international conferences, showcasing his dedication to advancing knowledge in his areas of expertise. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Hirpara plays a pivotal role in placement activities at LD College of Engineering and state-level initiatives. As the coordinator for placement activities, he actively engages with industry partners to facilitate job placements for students, bridging the gap between academia and the professional world.
