I am presently working as Assistant Professor in Applied Mechanics Department, L.D. College of Engineering since 2011. Before joining LDCE I was working as lecturer in Polytechnic, M.S. University of Baroda. 1. About 16 years experience of teaching Geotechnical and other courses in Applied Mechanics domain has helped in developing robust and systematic teaching methodology for fostering development of capable and innovative engineers for future . The developed skills are useful ineffective and efficient planning/delivery of academic responsibilities. 2. Having guided 28 M.Tech. thesis, I have gained good research experience , which will help to nurture and develop the research acumen in students and colleagues. My contributions include research areas of Gujarat state / nation’s priority are as such as reutilization of waste for different applications and decontamination of hydrocarbon contaminated soils. 3. I have worked in different capacities (Coordinator/Member) for various administrative and development tasks for department/institute /Gujarat Technological University. These responsibilities include coordinator for student startup activity at my institute , Coordinator for PG programme , curriculum re vision/deve loping syllabus for new courses for Gujarat Technological University, laboratory development activities in department, development of research facilities at department, coordinator for short term training program , etc. I have extended my services as a geotechnical expert for various industrial consultancy projects through my institute . I am also acting as a DPC member for GTU- PhD exams, working as Warden of boys hostel since Nov 2015.
