I am currently working as Associate Professor in Applied Mechanics Department, L. D. College of Engineering, and Ahmedabad. I have obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1989 and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (CASAD) in 2007 from L. D .College of Engineering affiliated to Gujarat University. I have been engaged in teaching Mechanics of Solids, Structural Analysis, Foundation Engineering, Precast Construction at Undergraduate level and Advanced Soil Mechanics, Soil Structure Interaction, Earth & Rock-fill Dams, Structural Optimization and Operation Research in M.E. (Geo technical Engineering & Structural Engineering) and my area of interest is to work with sustainable material and technology for Sustainable Development. I have published 15 research papers in national and international conferences in association with PG students in Geo technical Engineering and Structural Engineering. I have guided 18 PG students for their dissertation work and mentoring students for Design Engineering and various Projects at UG level.
