Mr. Sandip Rathod

Working as Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering since 11/03/2010 with Govt. of Gujarat. Prior to that, worked as Lecturer in Civil Engineering at L. C. Institute of Technology, Bhandu, Ta. Visnagar, Dist. Mehsana from July 2005. I have completed B. E.(PDDC) from L.D.Engineering College, Ahmedabad in June 2005 and M.E. Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering in September 2008. Pursuing Ph.D. from R K University, Rajkot, Gujarat under guidance of Dr. H. R. Varia on "DEVELOPMENT OF A MODEL FOR FREIGHT TRANSPORT AT REGIONAL LEVEL:A CASE STUDY OF KANDLA PORT" Academic excellence : 1. Received “Shri Deepakbhai Pratapbhai Shah memorial medal” for securing first rank in Diploma in Civil Engineering from Sir B. P. Institute, Bhavnagar (Gujarat) in October 1998. 2. Secured 2nd position in B.E.(PDDC) Civil from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad in June 2005. 3. Received Shri I. K. Modi GICEA Gold Medal for First rank in Gujarat University in M. E. Civil (Transportation) in September 2008. 4. Awarded with "Bharat Vikas Award" by Institute of Self reliance, Bhubaneshwar in October 2017. I have 5 years of Industrial and 14 years of academic experience. I have presented more than 10 research papers in national and international journals and conferences. I have guided 3 students for M.E. thesis and more than 15 project groups. I delivered 2 expert lectures at self-financed college and staff training college, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. I have also reviewed papers for national conferenced across the country.
