An MOU was signed between Bosch India Foundation (BIF) and L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summi-2024 at Mahatma mandir, Gandhinagar to set up a Bosch- Artisan Training Center in Electrical Engineering Department, L.D. College of Engineering.
The Artisan training Center was inaugurated on 28th Feb., 2024. The inaugural event was graced by Dr. N.N. Bhuptani, Principal L.D. College of Engineering, Heads of other departments, faculty, and students of Electrical Dept along with distinguished guests from Bosch Rexroth and BIF. Mr. Sujoy Pal, Engineering & Application Head, Bosch Rexroth India, Mr. Darshil Mistry, Quality Head, Bosch Rexroth India, Ms. Priyanka Thaker, Inside Sales Head, Bosch Rexroth India and Ms. Tejaswini Pawaskar, BIF graced the inauguration event. The ATC is funded by Bosch Rexroth India and the work is implemented by Bosch India Foundation (BIF).
The aim of this center is to make a meaningful and positive impact in society, especially for the underserved. The focus is to promote social development through need-based vocational training.
The ATC will offer long term course, workshops, and training sessions in Electrical Electronics trade that equip youths with essential life skills, vocational skills, technical skills, and soft skills required to succeed in today's competitive world.
