ABOUT ISHRAE
Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) is a premier professional body established in 1981, dedicated to the advancement of HVAC&R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) engineering in India. ISHRAE promotes technical excellence, energy efficiency, sustainability, and innovation through standards development, professional certifications, technical publications, conferences, and training programs. With over 25,000 members across India, ISHRAE acts as a vital link between academia, industry, and research organizations.
ISHRAE Student Chapter
The ISHRAE Student Chapter at L.D. College of Engineering (LDCE) serves as a professional platform for students to gain exposure to the HVAC&R industry and emerging building technologies. The chapter aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry requirements by organizing technical events, expert talks, National level quizzes, Hackathons, workshops, industrial visits, and student development activities.
The chapter encourages students to develop technical competence, leadership skills, teamwork, and professional ethics, preparing them for careers in HVAC&R and allied engineering fields.
