Prof. (Dr.) Dharmendra D. Mandaliya completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2016. His PhD thesis, "Generic Reactor Modeling and Simulation Framework for Industrial Reactors”, won the Prof. Kartik Khilar PhD Award. He had worked as a teaching assistant at IIT Bombay. He is an Early Career Researcher (ECR) grantee from SERB, New Delhi. Previously, he worked as a production engineer at TATA Chemicals. He had received the India Oil Corporation Limited scholarship for his post-graduate study. He had worked as a team member of the Elsevier Innovation Explorer Program. He has been in the Government of Gujarat Education service since 2004. He has been holding an additional charge of Joint CEO, Gujarat Knowledge Society and Student Startups and Innovation Policy (SSIP), Government of Gujarat since 2018 (https://ssipgujarat.in/).
