Nilesh Dwivedi students of BE Computer Engineering has selected for Code For India Social Innovations Hackathon organized in Rashtrapatibhavan on 19th March 2016 and represented L.D. College of Engineering there. In this Hackathon, closing keynote was given by the Hon. President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. During this he has made an Android application named "Loo-Fi" that will solve the problem of Surveillance of public loos.
Nilesh Dwivedi & Vishal Parekh, students of BE Computer Engineering won the "Innovative Students’ Co-Creation Awards for Leadership and Excellence (i-SCALE)" for their remarkable efforts towards a competitive coding portal "CodingHeaven". CodingHeaven is to create awareness in students of India about Competitive Programming and to develop their skills so that India can come up with great coding talent and can compete with the top programmers of the world. It will help to take India to the next level of competitive coding and CodingHeaven will be the single place for every talented problem solver in the world to hang out. This Platform will hone the skills of programmers and companies can recruit great tech talent easily.
