Mechanical Department has organized one day 4th semester students Industrial Visit on 28th and 29th March, 2023 at Indo-German Tool Room (IGTR) under ministry of MSME department, Vatva, Ahmedabad. It was coordinated by Prof. A. G. Momin, Prof. D. K. Patel, Prof. S. B. Shah and Mr. M.I. Solanki.
Mechanical department in collaboration with IIC cell LDCE organized field visit to FAB Lab at CEPT University, Ahmedabad on 07/02/2023. 43 students of Mechanical department along with Prof. Gaurav N Sutaria and Prof. Mrunal D Chaudhari have visited.
A Funshop on Project Management was organized at L D College of Engineering, Ahmedabad by Project Management Institute: Gujarat Chapter, on September 16, 2022. The event was open to students of all Engineering branches and was coordinated by Dr V B Patel, Head of Department, Mechanical Engineering.
An Alumni-Student interaction, named Safar-LDCE@75, was organized on June 21, 2022 to commemorate the rich legacy of L D College of Engineering, Ahmedabad students of Mechanical Engineering Department.
on 16th 17th 18th May 2022 , 89 Students of 4th sem mechanical engg have visited the Harsh Engineers Ltd, changodar. The students attended an Inspection and quality control seminar at the Technical Training center conducted by Mr.Vipul Prajapati, QC engineer from Harsha Engineers. Further Students have been demonstrated the various quality control methods and instruments at the QC Laboratory and finally, they have visited the Shop floor and learned the concepts of TPM, 5S, Manufacturing methods of Bearing Cages, Material Handling Process, and inspection process as well as packaging process also. Overall Coordination of the Industrial visit was done by Prof D K Patel and Prof S P Shah and Prof A G Momin accompanying the students on the day of the visit.
