The students are MEETKUMAR PANCHAL, NIKHIL VEKARIYA, VIRAJ SOLANKI, MITUL DUDHAT, SAHIL SOJITRA, KRUNAL RATHVA. The department offers heartiest congratulations to the students and wishes them all the very best for future endeavours.
Prof. (Dr.) Paresh Rana published a book chapter titled "Production of Hydrogen through Gasification Technology" in the book "Biohydrogen - Developments and Prospects" published by Taylor and Francis.
Dr. Anjali Bishnoi, Associate Professor, Chemistry, published a book chapter titled "Advanced Oxidation Processes for Wastewater Treatment: Types and Mechanism" in the book "Advanced Oxidation Processes for Wastewater Treatment An Innovative Approach" published by Taylor and Francis.
Akash Dave, PG student, Chemical (CAPD) 2021 passout has received 3rd prize for his dissertation work under the guidance of Prof. S. M. Dutta under Interlinking of Industries, Academia and Government for the year 2021-22 by GCPC, Gandhinagar.
Mr Kaushik Solanki, Technical Sales Manager, Mazda Ltd. delivered a lecture on “Industrial Wastewater Treatment” on 5th March 2022. Around 30 students of BE 4th semester and ME 4th semester students were present in the session. Overall coordination was done by Dr S. M. Dutta and Prof. T. S. Rajaraman.
Prof. Hiral Pandya published a research paper titled "Pongamia pinnata biodiesel production using cobalt doped ZnO nanoparticles—An analytical study" in the journal "Environmental Progress & Sustainable Energy, Wiley".
The webinar was organized by Dr Jaimin Vasa MSME Chair in association with Chemical Engineering Department, L D College of Engineering(LDCE), Ahmedabad. The programme was attended by around 100 people including students and professors of Chemical, Plastic and Environment department of LDCE along with industrialists and members of the Advisory Committee.
A patent was published by students and faculty of chemical engineering department titled "Grey TiO2 synthesis through aluminium foil assisted NaBH4 reduction" on 7/1/22.
