He is the departmental coordinator for NBA Accreditation since Joining the institute. He has teaching experience of more than 30 years. He has taught almost all subjects-courses in UG Civil Engineering. He has good computer-programming skills. His major subjects of interest are Environmental Studies, Building Planning, Computer Programming, Transportation Engineering, Estimating & Costing, Surveying, Humanities etc. He has attended more than 30 trainings including a few at IITs, NITs, IIMA, NID, and NITTTR. He has coordinated successfully 3 STTPs including 2 at this institute. He has served various duties including those in departmental pedagogy, student section, hostel, R&B liaison, PG section, university exams, admission committee, different-level election-duties etc. He has organised a good number of expert talks and site visits and technical tours.
