Electrical Engineering Department started the annual event SAHYOG in the year 2021 with a vision to bridge the gap between industry and academia for betterment of technical education, research and development. Keeping up with the legacy, the department celebrated the third SAHYOG event on 16th September, 2023 between 3 to 5 PM. The department, with an aim to expand the horizons, prefers to rope in newer industries every year to the event. In line with this effort, invites to several leading industries were sent for the event.

September 11-14, 2023 marks the fifth year for this international conference that covers advances in liquid silicone rubber and related materials. LSR 2023 will convene at the Sonesta Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina. Over 200 industry leaders and silicone experts will discuss technological and scientific developments of LSR and related materials and explore new commercial uses for silicone in the medical, automotive, electronics, and consumer products fields.
Environmental Engineering Department student namely Siddhi Vyas (Enrollment no 220280113056) has participated at inter-zonal free style Wrestling tournament at S. S. Agarwal College, Navsari on 04/09/2023. She won the gold medal i.e. secured First rank at State level and now she will represent GTU at AIU level at Merath, Rajasthan.
An industrial visit was arranged for 5th semester students to IFFCO, Kalol on 31st August 2023. Dr. Hiral Pandya and Dr. Rajul Bhatt accompanied the students.
