Plastic Technology Department organized an Industrial visit for the students of 3rd semester to Nyara Houseware on 4th September 2025. Faculties of the department, Prof Kintu Jain and Prof. Stuti Shah accompanied the students. The students obtained practical exposure to the industrial-scale manufacturing technique used to produce durable and high-quality dinnerware. It was an enlightening experience that bridged theoretical knowledge of manufacturing processes with real-world application. The visit successfully met its objective of offering practical exposure to industrial operations, quality control measures, and the importance of process efficiency in a manufacturing setting.
47 Students and Prof. Ghanshyam Shah, E.C. Engineering Department, LDCE participated in the C G Semi plant inaugural function at Sanand, inaugurated by Hon. CM Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel and Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji. It was indeed a proud moment to witness this milestone for the semiconductor industry. The Department of Chemical Engineering organized an Expert Lecture on “An Overview of Plant Design and Project Economics” on 26th August 2025 for 5th semester students. The session was delivered by Shri M. N. Vyas (Ex-IPCL), an eminent professional with extensive industrial experience in process plant design and techno-economic evaluation.
Prof. Bhatt delivered an expert talk on "Definition, concept, models, types of communication". The same lecture is telecast on youtube live also.
An expert lecture on “Emotional Intelligence and Spirituality” was organized by Chemical Engineering Department for the students of all the disciplines of L.D.C.E. Expert, Mr. Rajesh Jain-esteemed MD of Epitude Consultants, London, conducted the lecture on 21/08/2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Mathematics Challenge 2025 competition will be organized by the Science and Humanities department. The competition is open to all undergraduate Engineering students and to all B.Sc. students from the state of Gujarat. The purpose is to motivate and encourage students for strengthening their mathematics knowledge and also to prepare them for a healthy competition. The event is promoted and sponsored by Gujarat Ganit Mandal and the L. D. College of Engineering.
