Abstract of All Projects of Final year students of Academic year 2019-20.
L.D.College of Engineering, Ahmedabad conducted KAIZEN online first time in April-2020.In EC Department, five groups were formed to assess the projects prepared by final year students. Each group were handled by one class-I and three class-II faculties. There were around 10 projects under each group. Each group was evaluated by preparing timeslots from 4th April to 6th April 2020 in presence of all faculties of respective group. All students were being updated by forming a WhatsApp group for each team. Online KAIZEN was conducted on 'GOOGLE DUO and ZOOM Cloud meetings app" which is a cloud based service which offers Meetings and Webinars and provides content sharing and video conferencing capability.
The online Kaizen 2020 for Instrumentation & Control Engineering Department was conducted on 9th April 2020 for final year IDP/UDP project through Zoom meeting App.
KAIZEN is a yearly event where Final Year Students usually present their project work and it gets reviewed by field professionals. But, this year Online KAIZEN has been organized for the very first time causes of COVID - 19. Final year projects were reviewed online using digital platforms like, Google Duo and Zoom application. This digital platform are beneficial to conduct the event with the same effect while maintaining the social distances during this pandemic. Total of 61 students and 08 faculties participated in this event. Mr. Vivek Sheth and Mr. Snehal Styapanthi were the experts. The judges were delighted to see the overwhelming response of the students.
