The Google Developer Student Club at L.D. College of Engineering commenced its journey in July 2023, led by Kushang Haria, who was selected as the official GDSC Lead for the campus. Recognizing the necessity for a dedicated platform fostering technical skills and community building among students, Kushang, along with a group of passionate peers, established the foundation for this vibrant club. Driven by the potential of Google Developer technologies, GDSC aimed to empower aspiring developers with the knowledge and tools necessary for innovation. The GDSC club’s key events included AI Reshaping: Tools and Possibilities (120 participants) on 23rd August 2023, Google Cloud Campaign (95 participants) on 15th September 2023, and Embracing the Open-Source Revolution (140 participants) on 12th October 2023. Google Solution Challenge: Code for Impact Webinar on 23rd December 2023 attracted 150 participants, while Tuning with TensorFlow on 23rd January 2024 engaged 105 attendees. These events focused on AI, cloud, open-source, and machine learning.
