A Funshop on Project Management was organized at L D College of Engineering, Ahmedabad by Project Management Institute: Gujarat Chapter, on September 16, 2022. The event was open to students of all Engineering branches and was coordinated by Dr V B Patel, Head of Department, Mechanical Engineering.
On 15th September, 2022 which is celebrated as Engineer’s Day, LDCE organized a panel discussion on “Futuristic Engineering for Healthy Planet”. The event was graced by Dr. Rajul Gajjar - Principal LDCE, Dr. Ketan Badgujar - Head of Electrical Dept., Dr. Jaynarayan Vyas - eminent thinker on public administration and economics & finance, Dr. Amit Prashant - officiating Director IIT Gandhinagar and Dr. Kandarp Pandya - senior scientist SAC-ISRO.
Prof. Hiral Pandya, working as Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering department has successfully completed her PhD from GTU on the topic "Role of Nanoparticles for Production of Biodiesel" under the guidance of Dr. Sachin P. Parikh, Jt. Director, DTE, Gandhinagar.

Civil Engineering Department Organized Industry Academia meet at Vishwakarma Hall.
8 teams from department had partcipated in the Technical Quiz organized by Knowledge Studio. The quiz was conducted in 3 rounds. 6 teams of Civil Engg department were shortlisted after the Elimination Round. 2 of the Winners teams in the top 3 are from Civil department. The Winner team comprised of 2 PG students Darshil Satnami and Ajay (currently pursuing M.E. Structural Engineering, Sem- III) bagged a prize money of Rs.21,000/- and trophy on 17.9.22. The 1st Runner up team was also from LDCE. The team comprised of students of B.E. Sem VII (Civil), Maulik Chotlaiya and Rohit Chariya. The runner up team got a prize money of Rs,12000/-. Prof.Poonam I. Modi was the co-ordinator and mentor for the quiz. Prof.Poonam I. Modi liasioned with Knowledge studio for this event.
PG Orientation Program 2022
Civil department organised the orientation program newly admitted first year students. Prof. Rita Jadav and Prof. Z. R. Chhaya were coordinated the program.
