Vishweshwaraiah on 15th September, IETE Ahmedbad centre celebrated Engineer’s day on 19th September 2016 at L D College of Engineering, Ahmedabad on theme “Skill development for young Engineers to reform the core sector: vision 2015”.

Sahitya Sarita 2016 is a 3 day literature festival in which there are 10 events, 3 workshops, Kavi sammelan, Sahitya Goshthi, Expert sessions and Sangeet Sandhya. Many eminent personalities of Gujarati Literature are coming for this event. Students will get chance to interact with them.
Mock interviews of UG Final year students were taken by senior faculty members during working Saturdays of the months of August and September. These mock interviews were useful to enhance technical knowledge and built confidence in all present students which reflected in campus placement interviews.
As per the directives of Education Department and the office of The Commissionerate of Technical Education, Department of Electrical Engineering has celebrated 'Independence - 70'. Prof. M R Vasavada and Prof. Ms. F H Shah has co-ordinated the events.

Department of Electrical Engineering arranged industrial visit at 400kV VADAVI SUB STATION near Ahemdabad to enhance practical knowledge of 7th semester students. Prof J.B.Puajara, Prof. N.D.Rabara, Prof. M R Vasavada and Prof. Ms. Z B Parekh provided technical guidance during this visit.
