Prof. J. K. Chavda participated in the All-India Civil Service BEST PHYSIQUE Tournament held under the auspicious Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board, New Delhi. He represented the Gujarat secretariat team and marked his participation under the 85 – 90 kg category held from the 18th to the 22nd of March in the year 2024.
From January to March 2024, NPTEL – IIT Madras offered a MOOC-based course on EV Vehicle Dynamics and Electric Motor Drives. Prof. T.R. Patel completed the course and was awarded a silver medal certification, achieving the distinction of being in the top 1% of performers.

As part of the same, an MOU was signed between Bosch India Foundation (BIF) and L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summi-2024 at Mahatma mandir, Gandhinagar.
On February 23rd, 2024, IEI Student’s Chapter - EED, LDCE, organized a Workshop on Real-time Implementation of IoT Using Node MCU from 3:45 PM to 5:30 PM at Chanakya Hall, EED, LDCE. The speakers, Vaibhav Pandya, Gaurav Pal, and Shailendra Gupta, students of the 6th Semester Electrical, led the event, which had a total of 66 attendees, primarily from the 1st and 2nd year students.
