‘E-waste Recycling’ - A brief overview about the E-waste generation based on global level as well as based on our country. E-waste negatively affects the human life and nature. E-waste is not actually the waste, it contains very useful materials, which we can recover and reuse.
In order to provide practical exposure and updates in power transformer manufacturing technology, Electrical Engineering Department, L.D. College of Engineering had organized a one-day academic tour/ industrial visit to Powerlite Electricals Pvt. Ltd for pre-final year students. Team JALDOOT under guidence of Prof.Sudhanshu Dixit stood winner in Hackathon.
It is mandatory to pay the hostel renewal fee online and submit the document along with its hard copy. The last date for this is 05-09-2022. If the online fee is paid and the document is not deposited in the hostel office by 05-09-2022, the admission of those students will be cancelled. Which every student will take special note of.
An Expert talk on ‘Case-Studies of repair and Strengthening of RCC Structures” was organized by department under the aegis of 75 years of celebration of L.D.College of Engineering. The Expert talk was arranged on 25th August’2022, Thursday for a duration of 2 hrs at 11.00 a.m in Room No 626 of Applied Mechanics department block 6.The talk was attended by all the Under graduate & Post graduate students of Civil Engineering and its faculty members.The Resource Persons for the Expert Talk were: Mr.Shailesh Sonar (Director, M/s Radhe Structo-repair Pvt. Ltd. Ahmedabad) and Mr.Aayush Upadhyay ( Consultant, M/s Radhe Structo-repair Pvt. Ltd. Ahmedabad). Prof.M.G.Vanza and Prof.Poonam I. Modi had coordinated the entire talk.
LDCE Girls Chess Team has won the title of Ahmedabad Zone Champion in SPIRIT 2022 on 8th August 2022 at SAL College.
