‘E-waste Recycling’ - A brief overview about the E-waste generation based on global level as well as based on our country. E-waste negatively affects the human life and nature. E-waste is not actually the waste, it contains very useful materials, which we can recover and reuse.
In order to provide practical exposure and updates in power transformer manufacturing technology, Electrical Engineering Department, L.D. College of Engineering had organized a one-day academic tour/ industrial visit to Powerlite Electricals Pvt. Ltd for pre-final year students. Almost 180 students had visited this Powerlite Electrical Pvt. Ltd with four faculty members. One of the stake holders of this firm Mr. Milind Shah is alumni of our college
On 3rd September 2022, the students of the Civil Engineering Department, L. D. College of Engineering visited GIFT City, Gandhinagar, one of India’s premier smart city projects. A total of 45 students participated in the visit, accompanied by Prof. R. M. Jadav, Prof. C. N. Bhavsar, and Prof. Z. J. Chovatiya. The visit offered students valuable exposure to large-scale urban infrastructure, smart city planning, and sustainable construction practices.
