Central Regional Office, Bhopal of All India Council for Technical Education has proposed and decided to organize a One-Day Seminar on “AICTE: NORMS, STANDARDS & QUALITY INITIATIVES and Technical Teachers Training Sensitization” at L.D. College of Engineering Ahmedabad on 21st November 2019. The main objective of organizing this One-Day seminar to aware the Technical/ Management/ Pharmacy-based faculty members, academicians and other concerned officials associated with AICTE affiliations about the Norms, Standards and Quality initiatives of AICTE. Civil Engineering Department of L. D. College of Engineering has managed the organization of this event at institute. The participants in this events were the faculty members/ academicians from the Engineering/ Diploma/ Management/ Pharmacy Institutes affiliated under AICTE.
The General Department is going to organize ISTE approved FDP/STTP titled "Industrial Mathematics and Scientific Computing" during December 16 - 25, 2019 (Two weeks). This programmed is having distinct expertise from various fields/institutions including one faculty from University of Central Lancashire, UK and IIT Gandhinagar.
Chemical Engineering Department planned Alumni Meet for the pass out of last two year batches on 23/10/2019 at 5 pm. There was very good response from the alumni for this type of meet planned by department. Eight alumni could remain present.

Alumni Meet LDCE 1979 batch organized in the LDCE Campus has been reflected as a huge applause of success. 90 Alumni's have visited the campus and 27 were from the Department of Civil Engineering itself. The program has started with its scheduled timings from 5 pm onwards with welcome Tea and snacks. The Alumni's have revised and recalled their life as bachelor's and they have enjoyed the night as well. The event has been important as they have met after 40th year of graduation. Alumni’s have come with their family members and spouses as well for this function. Head of the Department Dr. R. B. Khasiya, Prof & Head (Civil) LDCE, Dr. P.G. Patel, Asso. Prof. (Applied Mechanics) Prof. Utkarsh P. Nigam, Asst. Prof. (Civil) and have accompanied the departmental visits carried out by Civil-LDCE 1979 batch Alumni.
