The Fanuc India Olympiad 2025, held from 23rd to 25th July in Bengaluru, showcased the talents of engineering students in industrial robotics and automation. With over 1700 participants from 200+ colleges, the competition saw 90 shortlisted teams undertake EV battery simulation projects. After evaluation, 14 teams were invited to the final round, where they completed real-time robot programming tasks. Two teams from L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad reached the Grand Finale on 26th July, highlighting the institute's technical excellence. Members of Team 1 are Mr. Harsh Jadhav and Mr. Ayush Shukla (final year Robotics and Automation) Guided by faculty mentors Prof. S. S. Pathan, and team 2: Mr. Adutya Panchal and Mr. Safwan Kumbhar (final year Robotics and Automation) guided by Prof. M Y Patil, the students demonstrated strong skills and innovation. The Olympiad successfully bridged academic learning with real-world industrial challenges.
