The Fanuc India Olympiad 2025, held from 23rd to 25th July in Bengaluru, showcased the talents of engineering students in industrial robotics and automation. With over 1700 participants from 200+ colleges, the competition saw 90 shortlisted teams undertake EV battery simulation projects. After evaluation, 14 teams were invited to the final round, where they completed real-time robot programming tasks. Two teams from L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad reached the Grand Finale on 26th July, highlighting the institute's technical excellence. Members of Team 1 are Mr. Harsh Jadhav and Mr. Ayush Shukla (final year Robotics and Automation) Guided by faculty mentors Prof. S. S. Pathan, and team 2: Mr. Adutya Panchal and Mr. Safwan Kumbhar (final year Robotics and Automation) guided by Prof. M Y Patil, the students demonstrated strong skills and innovation. The Olympiad successfully bridged academic learning with real-world industrial challenges.

Another Proud Moment for LDCE A patent titled "POWER THEFT DETECTION IN DISTRIBUTION NETWORK USING NODEMCU, CURRENT TRANSDUCERS, AND SERVER INTEGRATION" has been officially granted by the Government of India (Patent No. 567761) on 23rd June 2025.
