LAA Student Cell Student members serve as LAA volunteers, to establish and maintain contact among past students, present students and the teaching staff of LDCE Alumni, to develop campus of global standards that complements academic excellence in natural mode, paving the path for students' all-around development and professional growth. Vision: To foster a vibrant and inclusive community of alumni and students that champions excellence, innovation, and lifelong engagement with L. D. College of Engineering. Objectives: - Academic Enrichment: Organize workshops, seminars, and competitions to supplement classroom learning. - Holistic Growth: Promote extracurricular activities that support personal, social, and professional development. - Alumni Engagement: Encourage interaction with alumni for guidance,inspiration, and career support. - Leadership Development: Cultivate Leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills through student-led initiatives. - Community Service: Foster a spirit of social responsibility through outreach and volunteer programs. LAA Student Cell- Event Summary 2024-25 LAA hosted its 3rd Global Alumni Convention on January 4, 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from alumni residing both within India and abroad, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and intellectual exchange. Hon’ble Minister Shri Rushikesh Patel interacted with students and addressed the gathering. Dignitaries included Smt. Sunaina Tomar (ACS), Shri BanchhanidhiPani (Commissioner), Shri B.N. Navalawala, Dr. Rajul Gajjar (VC-GTU), Dr. Nilay Bhuptani (Principal), Shri Abhishek Jain (Film Producer), Shri Rahul Shukla (Mech. 1970), Anand Patel (President, LAA). The event featured departmental presentations and Inspiring alumni stories. Shri B.N. Navalawala was presented with prestigious LD Ratna Award. The event culminated in a delightful gala dinner, providing a perfect opportunity for attendees to network, reminisce, and strengthen the bonds of the LDCE alumni community.
