PRAKALPA is the space and science club of L.D. College of Engineering, focusing on space exploration and technological innovation. The club organizes workshops, events, and talks to promote scientific curiosity and engagement in space-related topics. It provides resources like telescopes and books to help students learn about and explore the universe, while encouraging a hands-on approach to space and science education.
Prakalpa at LDCE has made significant strides in space and science-related activities through a variety of engaging events. Key highlights include the annual National Technology Day (May 2022-2023) with 400+ participants, and the World Space Week held every October from 2021 to 2023, attracting over 200 participants each year. Notable events such as the Night Sky Observation (October 2021-2023) and ISRO-VSSE Visit (2021-2024) have provided students with invaluable scientific exposure. The Cosmic Hunt (February 2024) and Space Via Syco (August 2021) further emphasize the club’s commitment to expanding students’ knowledge in space science and fostering innovation.
