The company's Director Shri. Kaumil Patel is an Alumni of Electrical Engineering dept., L. D. College of Engineering,1991 batch. The company manufacturers electronuc control panels- control and relay panels, switchgear items, Industrial automation systems, PLC. It is engaged in Engineering services and software development. Students were taken around in the factory, where Shri. Kaumil Patel himself explained various ongoing jobs. He also answered all queries of students. Excellent hospitality was provided to the students and faculty.
The visit was initiated by the Department of Electrical Engineering. It was a One-Day industrial visit to Kotarpur water works, Ahmedabad. The aim is to get an Industrial exposure for future endeavour and awareness regarding water to the students. Electrical Engineering Department started the annual event SAHYOG in the year 2021 with a vision to bridge the gap between industry and academia for betterment of technical education, research and development. Keeping up with the legacy, the department celebrated the third SAHYOG event on 16th September, 2023 between 3 to 5 PM. The department, with an aim to expand the horizons, prefers to rope in newer industries every year to the event. In line with this effort, invites to several leading industries were sent for the event.

The event KAIZEN – 2K23 was organized by Electrical Engineering Department with great efforts and support by all faculty members and students under leadership of Head of the department, Dr.Ketan P Badgujar and Prof J R Iyer. Six parallel sessions were conducted at different venues. Well known experts from the industry came to guide and assess the student’s work. Each jury member took keen interest in discussing each and every internship and project in details.
The speakers for the workshop were, Abhay Gosai, Shwetal Shyara, Om Bhatt, students of semester-6, EED, LDCE. Initially, arduino architecture including pin-diagram was discussed by speakers. Moreover, they also discussed the brief about the sensor they were going to demonstrate such as relay switch module, IR sensor module, tilt switch module, and Ultra Sonic sensor module
Sandeep Anand received the B.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India, in 2007 and 2013, respectively. He had brief stints at Industry, working previously with Emerson Network Power, Mumbai, and Cosmic Circuits Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, India. From 2013 to 2019, he was an Assistant Professor with the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T), Kanpur, India, where he became an Associate Professor in 2020. He is currently an Associate Professor with I.I.T Bombay, India. He has received “Young Scientist Platinum Jubilee Award" by The National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) in 2019 & "Young Engineer Award" by Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) in 2017. His research interests include Electric Vehicles Power Train including EV Chargers, Reliability of Power Electronic Circuits, Wide bandgap devices (GaN, SiC) based Power Converters and Circuits for Interfacing Alternate Sources of Energy. In the area of electric vehicles, he is supporting various MSME industries in terms of R&D support for their power drive train requirements and also by running skill development courses in this emerging area. The expert elaborated constructional details, characteristics, and performance analysis of commonly used switch gears in the field of electrical engineering. Students asked lots of questions about their doubts and expert gave satisfactory answers to them.
An Industrial visit to "Transformer & Rectifier Ltd.'' Changodar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat was organized by the Electrical engineering department Engineering on Thursday, 20th April 2023. Approx. 40 students of Second year pursuing Degree in Electrical engineering and two faculty members Mr. Tejas Mrs. Nupur Sinha visited "Transformer & Rectifier Limited" of Power Transformer manufacturing process like Core & Winding manufacturing, cooling process and Testing etc. To understand how actual equipment looks and how it’s processing, to see the latest advancements of equipment, management in plant and safety to be followed in Electrical industries. Also to Experience the job and responsibilities of an Electrical Engineer.
