    EC Engineering Department Students won Dewant Mehta IT Awards 2025
    Students Paridhi Karmakar, Tanay Chaturvedi and Nandini Sharma won  Dewang Mehta IT Awards 2025 and received prize money Rs. 1 Lac for their project titled "AI Powered Drone for Precision Monitoring".   They have received SSIP grant for this project and working under the guidance of Prof. Madhusmita Sahoo and Prof. Kishor Bamniya. Hackathon coordinator Prof. Mihir Vasavada mentored them for documentation part required for the Dewang Mehta IT Awards 2025. Congratulations to the students and mentors. Laboratory assistant Mr. Atul Nakrani provided necessary technical help in terms of electronics components, equipment and consumables.

    As a part of Industry Insights & Networking, Our students visited eInfochips Ahmedabad on 29th July 2025 as a part of our Industry-Institute Linkage program. It was an incredible opportunity for the students and faculty to gain valuable insights into the industry and build connections.

    TechTussle 2025
    TechTussle 2025 was a one-day intra-college technical debate competition organized by the IETE Club of LDCE.
    The event aimed to foster technical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills among students.
    Participants debated compelling topics, encouraging logical reasoning and confident public speaking.
    
    Participation
    10 teams from various departments participated, totaling 30+ students. The event followed a knockout-style
    format with 11 matches, cheered on by an audience of 100+ students. Faculty members and IETE mentors
    served as judges, ensuring fair evaluation.
