the Electronics and Communication Engineering department, L.D College of Engineering,
Ahmedabad had organized a one week short term training programme on “Advances in VLSI
Technology” during 28th May – 1st June 2018 at Bhaskaracharya Hall, Block No. 9, Electronics and
Communication Department, L.D. College of engineering, Ahmedabad.
There were experts from SAC-ISRO, Ahmedabad, eInfochips,Ahmedabad and Mr.Kazutoshi Wakabayashi, from National Electric Corporation, Japan.

EC Department is organizing a week long STTP. VLSI Technology has emerged out as a prominent field in communication engineering with efficient designs and simulations. Experts would be from e-Infochip, SAC
ISRO and Academic Institutes. The course is designed primarily to train Post Graduate students, professionals, Research Scholars, Faculties to enhance their knowledge in VLSI Technology.
KAIZEN 2K18 ,a memorable event of the year 2018 to mark the continuous improvement of Project Work leading to tangible outcome by the final year students was launched by L. D. College of Engineering in 2016 . Since 2016 onwards, every year all the projects of final year U.G., P.G., and P.D.D.C. are showcased and adjudged by the renowned experts from the industries academicia and R&D organizations. This unique event boosts up the skills,
confidence and their innovative approach in taking up challenges providing ample opportunity to win prizes.
With the end of first chapter of the book of ‘TARANG’: The Space and Science Fest, the quest to reach the summit took its halt with the endless memories and benchmarks set up. With the participation of almost 2000 students and 5000 visitors, this fest earned its worth for the unique events or Sky Gazing, GSSO simulation, 7 unique kinds of workshops and many more exciting events. Around 40 schools and more than 50 colleges participated in the two days fest “TARANG-Space and Science Fest 2018” during 23-24th March, 2018. There were around 200 school students and 35 campus ambassadors.
