Plastic Technology department arranged an Industrial visit at Dutron Industries, Kheda for the students of 3rd & 5th semester. Prof. Stuti Shah and Prof. Hetal Shah along with IPI member accompanying the students
Indian Red Cross Society, Gujarat State Branch organized a Student Training on 18th September 2023. They trained the students for First Aid and other relevant things, also given certificates and their broch for being Member of Indian Red Cross Society.
As part of the Engineer's Day Celebration, Plastic Technology Department organized “Sahyog 2023”- an Industry-Academia Meet on September 16th, 2023, 3 to 5 pm. Alumni from industries like Milacron India, Prutha Packaging, TCS, Bhavi Automation Solutions and Engg Tech participated in the event and gave their valuable suggestions regarding curriculum, training, Department laboratory, visits, placement etc.
Electrical Engineering Department started the annual event SAHYOG in the year 2021 with a vision to bridge the gap between industry and academia for betterment of technical education, research and development. Keeping up with the legacy, the department celebrated the third SAHYOG event on 16th September, 2023 between 3 to 5 PM. The department, with an aim to expand the horizons, prefers to rope in newer industries every year to the event. In line with this effort, invites to several leading industries were sent for the event.
Rubber Technology Department organized this H.R. Meet on 16th September 2023. This H.R. Meet aims to provide a platform for meaningful interaction and collaboration between industry professionals and our students pursuing careers related fields. This event was foster the exchange of knowledge, insights, and experiences beneficial to both academia and industry. On 16th September 2023, 42 students visited the PSP Projects Ltd. Precast Plant at Sanand, under the guidance of Prof. P. J. Mehta, Prof. A. G. Hansora, and Prof. P. I. Modi. The visit offered exposure to mechanized precast systems, design-to-production workflows, and quality control in large-scale construction, highlighting the growing importance of precast technology in modern infrastructure.
As a part of Engineer's Day celebration, L D College has scheduled an Interactive session on Technology in Filmmaking by Mr. Abhishek Jain(Indian Film Director and Producer) on 16th September,2023 from 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM.
RUSA LS2 Under RUSA Component 9 (Remedial Class & Language Lab), a Lecture Series on Spoken English and Language Enrichment was held from 13th–16th September 2023 at LDCE, conducted by Ms. Mayuri Thakar (SCOPE empaneled). Around 60 students per session, mostly from weaker sections, actively participated in interactive sessions on interview skills and work etiquette, gaining confidence and practical communication insights.
