Rubber Technology Department arranged a workshop on “Solid Tyres” on 03 /11/ 2023 in association with Industry, Rubber King at Seminar hall, Rubber Technology department, LDCE. All faculties and almost 50 students participated.

The Orientation session of "YellowSide-The Entrepreneurship Club" was organized with following objectives: • Introduction of all the conveyers and coordinators • Introduce the core team of “YellowSide-The Entrepreneurship Club” • Explain the futuristic goals and plans of the club • Knowledge sharing with some Q&A based on Successful Entrepreneurs • To recall the journey of Successful entrepreneurs • Establish a healthy bonding and share the details about the Recruitments • Have a connective environment with some fun events.
On 18th October 2023, a large group of 115 students visited the Karai Syphon Aqueduct at Kadi Y-Junction, accompanied by Dr. R. M. Jain, Dr. P. K. Shah, Prof. Z. J. Chovatiya, and Prof. S. S. Dixit. Students gained first-hand knowledge of canal crossing structures, water management systems, and aqueduct design, strengthening their practical understanding of hydraulic engineering.

The company's Director Shri. Kaumil Patel is an Alumni of Electrical Engineering dept., L. D. College of Engineering,1991 batch. The company manufacturers electronuc control panels- control and relay panels, switchgear items, Industrial automation systems, PLC. It is engaged in Engineering services and software development. Students were taken around in the factory, where Shri. Kaumil Patel himself explained various ongoing jobs. He also answered all queries of students. Excellent hospitality was provided to the students and faculty.
An Industrial visit to " GAYATRI CONTROL and AUTOMATION PVT. LTD.'' G.I.D.C. Vatva, Ahmedabad, Gujarat was organized by the Electrical engineering department of L.D. College of Engineering on Saturday, 30th September 2023 Approx. 60 students of third year pursuing Degree in Electrical Engineering and two faculty members Mr. Alpeshkumar Upadhyay and Mrs. Rachana Patel visited " GAYATRI CONTROL and AUTOMATION PVT. LTD."
