L D College of Engineering Achieves Stellar Placements for 2023-24 Once again, it demonstrated its excellence by securing impressive placements for its 2023-24 batch. A total of 129 companies participated in the campus placements, extending job offers to 928 out of 1200 eligible students.
Prof. V.M. Dholakiya mentored Team Acenthis, comprising students from Electrical and Electronics & Communication Engineering, under the LDCE Aarambh Cell as part of the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP) initiative. The team worked on developing a Proof of Concept (PoC) in the field of 3D reconstruction with digital cameras, which showcased advanced innovation and practical application. This mentorship played a pivotal role in refining their technical and entrepreneurial skills, culminating in the emergence of their project as a Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT)-recognized startup. In July 2022, the startup, Zevien Technologies Private Limited, was officially established, marking a significant milestone for the students and the institution’s innovation ecosystem.
