Mathematics Challenge 2025 competition will be organized by the Science and Humanities department. The competition is open to all undergraduate Engineering students and to all B.Sc. students from the state of Gujarat. The purpose is to motivate and encourage students for strengthening their mathematics knowledge and also to prepare them for a healthy competition. The event is promoted and sponsored by Gujarat Ganit Mandal and the L. D. College of Engineering. The competition is planned as a rigorous activity in mathematics, so the format of the competition involved three different rounds: Preliminary round Problem Solving Round Quiz Round

RUSA LS2 Under RUSA Component 9 (Remedial Class & Language Lab), a Lecture Series on Spoken English and Language Enrichment was held from 13th–16th September 2023 at LDCE, conducted by Ms. Mayuri Thakar (SCOPE empaneled). Around 60 students per session, mostly from weaker sections, actively participated in interactive sessions on interview skills and work etiquette, gaining confidence and practical communication insights.
RUSA LS1 Under RUSA Component 9 (Remedial Class & Language Lab), a Two-Week Lecture Series on Spoken English and Language Enrichment was organized from 1st–12th May 2023 at LDCE, conducted by SCOPE empaneled experts Ms. Noopur Thakkar and Ms. Urmil Yagnik. Through interactive sessions on greetings, presentation skills, team building, and group discussions, along with activities, students gained confidence, soft skills, and practical communication abilities. Both co-cordinated by Dr A B Dharankar and Dr M A Joshi and organised at Annexe building

This programmed is having distinct expertise from various fields/institutions including one faculty from University of Central Lancashire, UK and IIT Gandhinagar.
