Department arranged project display for the final year students under KAIZEN 2K19. Final year students displayed their project work based on “Recycling of Plastics” Theme .
Various industries like AMUL, NETAFIM, CREDENCE, TOSHIBA, HEXAPLAST, MIKU TRADERS etc. approached for placement in the department and many final year students got placed in the same.
An expert lecture under IPI was arranged in the department on 01-03-19 by Dr. Pradeep Bakshi (Consultant in Plastics Technology) on “Designing with Plastics” for 4th, 6th & 8th semester students.
An expert lecture under IPI was arranged in the department on 22-02-19 by Mr. Prashant Trivedi from Sintex Industries on “Rotational & Blow Molding Techniques” for 4th, 6th & 8th semester students
Under SSIp Project- Gondaliya Vaibhav, Savaliya Virat and Senjaliya Dhaval participated in “ISTE Students National Convention 2019 under SSIP.
Under the theme of “Innovation & Creativity”, department conducted events like PlastiQuiz, Poster Presentation, Product Design, Model Making on Better out Waste out of Best & Waste & Elocution during the ISTE Students National Convention on 29-30th January 2019.
An expert lecture was arranged in the department on 22-01-19 by Mr. Rohan Garg from I.C.E Education on “Apptitude examination preparation like GATE, CAT, IELTS” for 6th Semester students
