An Industrial visit to " GAYATRI CONTROL and AUTOMATION PVT. LTD.'' G.I.D.C. Vatva, Ahmedabad, Gujarat was organized by the Electrical engineering department of L.D. College of Engineering on Saturday, 30th September 2023 Approx. 60 students of third year pursuing Degree in Electrical Engineering and two faculty members Mr. Alpeshkumar Upadhyay and Mrs. Rachana Patel visited " GAYATRI CONTROL and AUTOMATION PVT. LTD."
Expert Lecture by Shri Sawmyaji,a guide from O & O Academy (EKAM) was delivered on the topic "Stress Release". She delivered the lecture to guide the students to overcome stressful states and be champions in their chosen field and awaken intelligence.
The visit was initiated by the Department of Electrical Engineering. It was a One-Day industrial visit to Kotarpur water works, Ahmedabad. The aim is to get an Industrial exposure for future endeavour and awareness regarding water to the students. On 23rd September 2023, the department organized a visit for 100 students to a Road Construction and Hot Mix Plant in Ahmedabad. Faculty members Prof. V. J. Chitaria, Prof. T. H. Vyas, and Prof. J. P. Modi guided the visit. Students observed the process of road laying, hot mix preparation, and quality control measures, enhancing their understanding of practical aspects of highway engineering.
